I&#039;m wary of those &quot;follow this formula to draft your own pattern&quot; type instructions as I have yet to have a successful outcome. Most recently a pattern I bought turned out to be too small even though I cut the muslin in the largest size. :P]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ve also learned that lesson about taking time with sewing projects the hard way. So far the most important thing I&#039;ve learned is to always make a muslin, which has saved me a couple of times since I&#039;ve started doing that. I&#039;ve also learned to pay more attention to the drape of the fabric when I buy it, especially if I already know what I want to make for it. I have a pattern for a similar looking top, and got a fun batiky print for it. That was stiff when I bought it, and remained stiff after washing. At least I knew better than to try and soldier on, though!]]></description>
